I’ve often wanted to write about the Gay Problem. That is, some people just aren’t Gay enough. Which leaves a few mouth breathing louts like Mike Rogers and AmericaBlog’s John Trichinosis to be the arbiters of who is Gay Enough for them. The entire concept of “outing” people, invading their private life for your personal agenda is repulsive.
I think the Emperor puts it quite well:
I don’t care if Larry Craig or anybody else is as gay as a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide. What they do with consenting adults of legal age behind closed doors is nobody’s business but theirs and, furthermore, it does not in the least bit affect my personal opinion of them. They have a problem with G-d, but that’s not for me to sort out, nor do I want any part of it.What I do care about a great deal is mindless thugs like you and your execrable friend, John Trichinosis, who, faced with the harsh reality that your intellects are too minute to impress an oyster on the half shell, resort to extortion, threats and assorted other hallmarks of Idiotarians seriously under-endowed in the ethical, intellectual and moral departments.
The only problem I have with Gayness is the Radical Gay Agenda. I’m willing to live and let live as long as you don’t shove your sexuality down my throat…so to speak. I don’t want any sexual agenda force fed to me or my kids. Somehow the thought is that we need not to merely accept different sexualities but to embrace them. That’s not tolerance…that’s totalitarianism.
These two bozos don’t seem to understand the concept of “quit while you are ahead”. By and large most folk will tolerate homosexuality. They may not like it, but they are willing to let people alone in their private life. Which is what I thought was always the goal. But folks like Rogers seem to want to piss people off to the point of rejecting any concept of tolerance.
As is usually the case with terrorists with radical agendas it is not enough that their agenda be accepted, it must replace the prevailing agenda of the majority. People like Rogers simply won’t be happy until every young person is required to have homosexual sex just to see how great it is…thus validating his own self…not unlike the head loppers who want every woman circumcised and in a bhurka, every man to grow a beard and everyone to worship as they do.
