Country comes first

I am often leary of joining blog groups, blog rolling groups and blogblasts.  It just sems like a bunch of “me-tooism”. Such might be the case for the “Victory Caucus” .  However, we at JBM are making an exception. In this case we make an exception purely because of this paragraph written by NZ Bear.  Written in reference to the shameful act of the House of Representives.

This will be a long and serious effort, but it starts now. We have established a team within the site that will focus on identifying strong candidates—veterans, ideally—- as well as teams devoted to identifying White Flag Republicans and their antimatter opposites, the Blue Dog Democrats. These three groups will be at the forefront of our efforts to identify the districts where we can do the most good: whether that is to replace a defeatist Democrat with a new Republican victory candidate—- or to help a Blue Dog Democrat who is strong on the war take down a White Flag Republican. Here, party comes second: victory—- and country—- come first. 

Failure to achieve victory in Iraq is simply not an option.  Not only because of the cost in human lives in Iraq…the failure of the Democrats in 1974 turned Southeast Asia into an Abitior when the NVA Armor rolled in to Saigon and it will happen again…but because the traitourous actions of The House and of the Mayor of Crazytown emboldens the enemy. Which has consequences here at home.
