Arrianna’s hate fest continues.

Upon hearing the news that US Soldiers were captured in Iraq the HuffPoPosse responds:

With any luck the remains of these soldiers will be found tortured to death and that this will serve as a lesson to other troops what happen when they torture civilians.

America is in deep trouble.

This one needs to experience some of what she speaks. I’ll just go throw up now.

And to think our soldiers die to defend these people. I concur, it makes me ill.

    Two things.

First, Arianna Huffington is a Greek gold-digger. Naturalized, perhaps, but she’s one the Greek Left can really call their own. Didn’t like her when she was Michael Huffington’s wife, haven’t liked her since.

Second, that isn’t her comment, or even one of her columnists. It’s a bunch of blog feedback, all tagged “abusive.” Which it certainly is.

Smearing Ms. Huffington with that isn’t a reasonable thing. That sh*t is cherry-picked to be the nastiest set of responses.

Sorry if you thought I meant Arianna had written that vile passage. She didn’t. But I did link to the comment section where it was posted. That she attracts, and allows, such hate to occur is beyond the pale.

Oh, I don’t know. Loony groups do, legitimately, need an outlet. Kos is another such. THAT IT OCCURS is not offensive. THAT THE POSTERS hold such views may be personally offensive, but isn’t a breach of the peace. That they choose to dump such into legitimate political discourse, and call it ‘informed comment” is insulting beyond belief.

Three entirely different things. In this case, I don’t find the presence of the posts insulting, even though I’d be tempted to punch each individual poster solidly in the mouth, were they in my presence.
