Today Rev. Jerry Falwell passed away at the age of 73. Personally I had some disagreements with many of his stances. On the other hand, he kept the issue of the disintegration of American Family Values alive; the destruction of the American family by the secular progressives would not be the campaign of O’Rielly and others had not Falwell kept it alive. I believe that Falwell truly thought he was doing the best for America.
But I’m not surpised at all to see the Moonbat Caverns and the Fever Swamp dancing and shouting with glee at Falwell’s demise. There is a physcological theory known as Projection where you make someone else out to have all of your own faults. In this case the Rabid Left is calling Falwell a hater, a fascist unwilling to listen to the other side, beset with drug abuse and sex abus…and on and on.
In fact it is the Rabid Left that wishes to throttle dissent, excuse every lack of personal responsibility and revel in the misery of others. Most particularly it is hate filled to the bursting point. These are the Left’s “netroots.
Interestingly the single, so far, far left personage acting with any class is Al Sharpton:
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Reverend Jerry Falwell. Though he and I debated much and disagreed often, we shared a very cordial and warm friendship. I visited him in Lynchburg, dined with him, and even talked with him during personal crises. Though we were as politically opposite as two people could be, I truly respected his commitment to his beliefs and our mutual belief in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. As I stated to my nationally syndicated radio show, I pray for the Falwell family and join the nation in mourning the passing of this religious leader.
You see Rev. Sharpton will debate with people he disagrees with; he’s done it with people from Rev. Falwell to Glenn Beck. Likewise Falwell would have cordial debates with foes like Larry Flynt. The “netroots” only knows how to hurl invective and hate. It is scary indeed that these are the people driving the Democrat Party.
As Gaius says about the lefty hatefest:
They range from disgusting to truly unhinged. These are the folks Harry Reid panders to. These are the crowd Nancy Pelosi plays to. Very nice. There’s an old saying about the company you keep. There’s also one about dogs and fleas.

I can’t say I mourn his passing, dude. Just because some of my political views coincided with some of his doesn’t make him any less of a loon, IMO.
But still, the reaction from the Left is educational. I can’t say the extreme Right would act much more mature if, say, Janet Reno kicked the bucket.
