In a post extolling the virtues of (T)Hugo Chavez, moonbat extraordinaire Libby Spencer makes the following statement:
Whatever you think of Chavez and his admittedly abrasive style, the majority of his people love him. It strikes me that all this talk about his tyranny is more than a little misplaced considering Venezuelans have more of a voice in their government than we do under Bush.
Let’s be clear here. This woman is out of her fucking mind. She actually believes the hype that George Bush is Chimpy McBusHItler, The World’s Dumbest Dictator. That we live under some sort of repressive regime unlike the the People’s Paradise that (T)Hugo has enabled in Venezuela.
Nothing could be further from the Truth, Libby, you ignorant slut.
Has Chimpy’s minions fired bullets, rubber or real, at protesters as (T)Hugo has? The answer would be NO.
Has Chimpy shut down opposition media as (T)Hugo has? The answer would be NO.
Has Chimpy jailed opposition members as as (T)Hugo has? The answer would be NO.
Exactly, Ms. Spencer, how do you qualify the change in Congress during the 2006 election? That Democrat Majority doesn’t speak for the people? Do you, in your warped and fevered brain, think that Karl Rove secretly controls Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid?
(T)Hugo is a tyrant, and as a simile Ms. Spencer, a lot of Germans supported Hitler. That doesn’t make either man’s regime something to be admired.
But in the deluded, BDS inspired hell that is Libby Spencer’s brain it apparently does.

I simply suggest that the person go to Venezuala and speak about Chavez the way they do about President Bush, and see what the difference is for themselves. I’ve even offered to pay for the flight there. Strange – no one has taken me up on it.
