Recent polls indicate a swing of the undecided voter away from leaning for Obama to leaning for McCain. As Captain Ed writes:
How do we know this? Independents have begun to break for McCain. McCain now leads 45-43. A week ago, Obama led 43-38 with 19% undecided. The entire 7% that has come out of the undecided column in that period have gone to McCain, and 12% of them still have to make up their minds. Interestingly, slightly more Democrats than Republicans are undecided — not good news for Obama.
Actually, it makes sense. These are people who desperately want to vote Democrat but are not sold that Obama has what it takes. I’m convinced that this is why Obama is addressing the Press…he’s scared that another “Joe the Plumber” type question will sink him. Luckily there are still a lot of things that the Media has still not pothered to bring up. Such as this:
“So if somebody wants to build a coal-powered plant, they can; it’s just that it will bankrupt them because they’re going to be charged a huge sum for all that greenhouse gas that’s being emitted.”
And if you are less then wealthy Obama’s got something other than a bag a candy. He’s going to offset that with skyrocketing electric prices.
You know, when I was asked earlier about the issue of coal, uh, you know — Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket. Even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad. Because I’m capping greenhouse gases, coal power plants, you know, natural gas, you name it — whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, uh, they would have to retrofit their operations. That will cost money. They will pass that money on to consumers.
McCain needs to hammer this stuff out in the Coal and energy states. This sort of radical change is what the undecideds fear most.

Obama, I’m smarter than you. I’m better educated than you. I’m more experienced than you, and I’m 15 years younger than you. I see right through your horseshit. Sadly, you’re just pandering to a more gullible demographic. We’ll see how many of them exactly, in less than 72 hours.
