AP Fabricating the News

Milblogger Bill Roggio reports that the Associated Press and CNN ran stories about an insurgent attack based upon information received from local “stringers.” According to Roggio the stories were false, and the images representing the attacks were recycled from old film footage. Curious indeed.

All the news that’s fit to make up.

So Tree Rat… you’re over in Iraq right now. How’s that civil war going we keep hearing about?

I’ll have to ask the AP. Apperantly we don’t know shit, and are sitting around here with our thumbs up our asses. I can say, without getting hammed by the man I think, that if a civil war really had broken out you’d know it. You have to question the validity of the statement when even the lefties can’t agree if it’s an accurate statement or not. When the do decide though maybe they should post the notice in the Iraqi papers so they can get up to speed.
