Just sick.
The left is truly unhinged.

About 3-4 months ago on Bayosphere, I got into it with a guy who was really big on “citizen journalists should be transparent about themselves and their background.” I thought he was full of it, and used a could skip-tracing sites I use for work to show the consequences of that transparency. Mr. Zenith blew a fuse that his wife’s name would appear in the thread, and it got to the point where the site owner (Dan Gilmor) deleted EVERY comment in the thread.
I’ve just suggested to Ms. Malking that similar tactics might be appropriate for the (a) posters, and (b) site owners where this information about her family is being posted. If they like transparency so much, perhaps they should try some.
Anyway, I commend the following sites to your attention in this regard:
http://www.zabasearch.com
http://maps.google.com
I find that google has better and more current satellite imagery than Microsoft’s efforts – I’ve found ~20 year old satellite imagery of the core SF Bay Area published as “current” on terraserver.
Almost forgot. You should note that I’m not in favor of the practice of spreading peoples’ personal information all over the internet. That being said, I do feel that they should practice what they preach, and if they don’t like it being done to them, well ain’t that just too effing bad.
